Just Braces

Insignia Braces

Insignia Advanced Smile Design is the most innovative orthodontic system available today. With Insignia, you’ll get state-of-the-art treatment that’s 100% customized to your specific prescription. Digital planning and 3-D visibility allow your orthodontist to add a level of customization and detail that exceeds more traditional braces which are “off the shelf” and generically manufactured to fit anyone’s teeth.

Standard methods of treatment require the orthodontist to cement brackets on the teeth as accurately as the human eye can predict. Manual bracket placement is effective but can result in continuous adjustments and repositioning throughout treatment. Insignia Precision Placement brackets, by contrast, are placed in the exact position on the teeth as prescribed by your personal treatment plan. This degree of precision helps reduce the number of mid-treatment adjustments, the length of appointments and overall treatment time by up to 38%. The Insignia system also takes into account variations in facial symmetry which require a custom solution for optimal results that standard methods can’t match.

Damon® Braces

Damon® braces work faster than traditional, metal braces, are more comfortable and easier to clean.  These brackets are self-ligating, which means goodbye to elastic or metal ties that traditionally held wires in place. No wire tightening required!  Damon® braces use slide technology, allowing the orthodontist to slide the wire through special clips on the brackets and affix the position of the wire by closing the clips.  This technology accelerates tooth movement by putting less stress on the teeth, allowing them to move more easily into their desired positions. Damon braces are a simple, practical solution to orthodontics with an emphasis on comfort.

Damon® Clear Braces

Virtually invisible Damon® Clear braces combine the advantages of traditional clear braces and invisible aligners like Invisalign. Damon® braces use tieless braces with high technology arch wires that don’t need to be “tightened” and are gentle to the teeth and tissues. Unlike other kinds of braces, they don’t use elastics or active clips that bind arch wires in place, slow treatment time and cause pain.

This system moves teeth up to six months faster, with fewer appointments and more comfortably than traditional braces. That means more comfort and convenience for you!

Our doctors are Certified Invisalign® Providers.

Consider Invisalign to get the beautiful straight teeth you’ve always wanted – without braces. A complimentary consultation with one of our orthodontists can determine if Invisalign is right for you.

Invisalign uses a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that no one can tell you’re wearing. So you can smile more during treatment as well as after. Invisalign is made with 3-D computer imaging technology and has been proven effective. More than 70% of orthodontists in the US and Canada are certified to treat with Invisalign.

Not only are the aligners invisible, they are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment, plus brushing and flossing are no problem. They are also comfortable, with no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment. And no metal and wires usually means you spend less time in your doctor’s office getting adjustments. Invisalign also allows you to view your own virtual treatment plan when you start, so you can see how your straight teeth will look when your treatment is complete.

Traditional Braces (Metal and Ceramic)

Metal braces are the most common type of braces and are more comfortable today than ever before. Made of high-grade, stainless steel, metal braces straighten your teeth using metal brackets and arch wires.

Ceramic braces are made of clear materials and are therefore less visible on your teeth than metal braces. For this reason, ceramic braces are used mainly on older teenagers and adult patients who have cosmetic concerns. While they are visually less prominent, ceramic braces are slightly larger and require more attention to oral hygiene. Ceramic braces tend to be used more on upper-front teeth than on lower teeth.

Lingual Braces

If you’re looking for braces that are invisible, comfortable and affordable, linguals may be the right choice for you. A breakthrough in cosmetic orthodontics, linguals attach comfortably behind your teeth and are becoming the preferred method of treating minor tooth misalignments. Most cases treated with linguals can be finished in up to half the time of the standard Invisalign® case. Some cases are done in less than six months. And only you know that you’re actually wearing braces!
